I was looking for a site that listed only healing scriptures and although there are many out there in cyberspace; when I went to print, some had letters that were too small to read while others weren't as nicely laid out as I'd like. So here they are, the same scriptures that Dodie Osteen (Joel's mother) listed in her book. I don't have her book, but it's called "Healed of Cancer" (1987) and is her story of her miraculous healing by speaking these scriptures OUT LOUD twice a day (or so I hear). If you want to buy the book do a search for it in your favorite search engine. If you are sick it certainly can't hurt to get into the word now can it!?
I lay no claim to giving medical advice or anything of the sort! I've not verified her story, nor could I really. I believe her in faith. In short, I'm just repeating, in a different format, what can already be found in Google search engine. These scriptures are listed in the order they are found in the bible in the KJV from BlueLetterBible.org for which I've included links to each, and if you want to you can look them up in your preferred bible version (V icon, once you are at BLB, left side of their screen) of choice! Curly {bracket} comments are mine. Jesus' words are in bold red (and may be italicized if I added them on at a later date). I have added some other verses in italics {revised 02/14/08} where I felt it necessary, and may add more in the future as I find them. You can download the PDF version of just the scripture verses that Dodie quoted in her book (no scripture text, you would have to look them up in your own bible) from here.
"Dodie Osteen was
told to go home to die"
Dodie Osteen from Lakewood
Church in Houston, TX
spoke these scriptures daily, in faith
& belief, for deliverance from cancer:
| And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I [am] the LORD that healeth thee. | |
| Exd 23:25 | And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. |
| Deu 7:15 | And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all [them] that hate thee. |
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe [and] to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the city, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the field. Blessed [shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed [shall be] thy basket and thy store. Blessed [shalt] thou [be] when thou comest in, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] when thou goest out. The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways. And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee. And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee. The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them]: :: WARNING :: And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, [to] the right hand, or [to] the left, to go after other gods to serve them. {Obviously, no need to speak this warning verse out loud, it and the one below are here so that you *think* about them!} |

:: WARNING :: Also every sickness, and every plague, which [is] not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. {Similar to warning above and for the same logical reason! The opposite end of blessing is cursing, read all of Deu 28. We can't expect healing if we aren't obeying God's commands in our lives. If you aren't getting healed, consider what you may be doing that displeases God, EX: still smoking? holding a grudge or anger towards anyone? cursing or taking God or Jesus' name in vain? surfing erotic websites? say you believe but don't believe all, just some things? Judge yourself so that God doesn't have to!} |
| Deu 30:19-20 | I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, [and] that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he [is] thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. |
| 1Ki 8:56 | Blessed [be] the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. |
| Psa 84:11-12 | For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good [thing] will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed [is] the man that trusteth in thee. |
| Psa 91:16 | With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. |
| Psa 103:1-5 | [[[A Psalm] of David.]] Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. {Click left link to read all.} |

| Pro 4:20-23 | My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they [are] life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it [are] the issues of life. |

| Jer 29:11-13 | For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. | Mat 21:21-22 | Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. |
| Mar 11:22-24 | And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them]. |

| Rom 4:17-21 | (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, [even] God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. |
| Rom 8:11 | But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. |

| Eph 6:10-18 | Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; {Click left link to read further.} |

| 3Jo 1:2 | Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. {This is actually a greeting from the Apostle John (as the writter) to Gaius a fellow servant of the Lord, not to be confused as something God is promising for *prosperity*. Also read 1Jo 2} |
| Rev 12:11 | And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. |
Remember these scriptures: Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. And Mar 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men [it is] impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. And Luk 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. Finally Luk 18:27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
